Bicycle has more and more the wind in its sails in Valencia.
The almost flat topography of the city, a growing network of bike paths, a large number of bicycle and other pedal vehicle hire companies, with above all that a pleasant mediterranean climate almost all year round, make Valencia an ideal city for this mode of transport.

Regarding conventional bike hiring, rates are equal, which is fair enough. The difference consists of the range of available vehicles and solutions.

Public Bicycles

VALENBISI

Valenbisi has a fleet of 2750 bicyclettes distributed in 275 parking stations.
A weekly Hire Ticket fee costs 10 €.
First 30 minutes is free, from 30 to 60 minutes: 1 € and 3 € for every 60 extra minutes.
Annual hire card fee: 18 €
Valenbisi is ideal for a short ride, bicycles being quite heavy and unwieldy.
The only snag being the rush hour and strategic locations. Either there is no bike available or the parking station is full.

Bicycle hire companies enjoy great success during the Fallas festival. Particularly useful and enjoyable to tour the 14 large fallas, especially since more than 400 streets are closed to traffic during the festival.
